Sonic Shock Alarms protecting valuable equipment such as Projectors, PC's, laptops, Plasmas.... |
 |
If you're considering Sonic Shock alarms for LCD projector security, you should know that our college, university and school customers use most of their units for precisely that role. Before, almost all had serious LCD projector security issues, often despite using cables or protective enclosures which thieves simply cut or dismantled. Sonic Shock presents thieves only two choices: carry the siren with them, or rip the alarm off the LCD projector, destroy the casing and render the LCD projector unable to be resold. So effective is this strategy our customers world wide return year after year to order more
Sonic Shock’s siren is triggered by cutting or unplugging a 10 foot electronically monitored tether. There’s no motion trigger, so no false alarms. Once tripped, the siren sounds for over 2 hours. Built specifically for commercial and institutional use, the Sonic Shock is a great anti-theft product that is simple, reliable, and tough. Its metal parts are 1/16" stainless steel. Its battery will probably outlast your equipment. It is reusable. Its lock cores can be replaced. It’s impervious to false alarms. It’s a proven anti-theft security product.
Features
-
No False Alarms - Ever
Sonic Shock isn't motion sensitive. Secure the 10' electronic tether to an immovable object, plug it into the Shock alarm, then arm it with a key. You can bang it, lift, move, or turn it upside down with no protest. Unplug or cut the trip wire though, and you will. Once started, it won't stop until you stop it.
-
117db siren
Siren screams for up to 2 hours. It's the worlds loudest micro alarm, custom made for Sonic Shock. You don't just hear it, you feel it.
-
Custom Locks
All orders are custom keyed and offer keyed alike or master keyed options at no additional charge. Your key number is documented so re-orders a year from now would be keyed the same as those you buy today.
-
Inexpensive Parts
The battery will last for 5 years or more but changing the battery after the alarm has gone for hours is recommended. Any 9 volt battery will do for a replacement.
Need to move Sonic Shock to a new projector? A new mounting plate and glue costs only a few dollars.

The World's Strongest Glue
It's expensive, so nobody else uses it. It's the best, so we do. It's methylmethacrylate, used industrially for car bumpers and yacht hulls. It's stronger than bolts, shock resistant, temperature resistant, and solvent resistant. If somebody actually does wrench a Sonic Shock from your projector, what they have left to take won't look pretty.
